Art, a technic that leads to endless communication opportunities.
Passionate about education, I am keen on teaching arts to children and adults. As a support of personal growth and enrichment, Art is more than just a technique, it is a spontaneous, taboo-free, and natural mean of communication.
During personalized lessons, my pedagogical approach allows the children to find their own path to express themselves. I center my class on their sensitivity, creative craving, and punctual feeling and I especially focus on teaching my students the ability to observe. The children, who therefore learn to better perceive their environment, have an increased self-confidence and adopt a positive attitude towards learning that leads them to success. They will then gain confidence not only towards their own artistic production, but more importantly towards their daily life and ability to learn. Technique is not anymore perceived as a constraint but as a powerful tool to enhance their creativity and communication skills.
During classes, I focus especially on mutual self-regulation and sharing. The artistic experience leads children to mutual respect and assistance and eases group’s communication.
Being eventually taught in Miami in French also gives an opportunity to the young French-speakers to practice their language outside of their school and family. For those who do not speak French at home, art is a fun way to practice French while discovering new artistic horizons. Nevertheless classes in English are also available.
